Books: Doyle - Canon:

Oh my gosh I love ACD Holmes and Watson a lot, and I'm currently in the midst of canon review/reread. I love the short stories especially, and would love any gifts you want to create for me. I especially love aroace Holmes, but I love him with Watson in whatever capacity you want to write! Best Friends, Queerplatonic Relationships, Platonic Life Partners, Undefined Relationships and/or Aspec Characters very welcome! I really love aroace Holmes, and a Watson who has a mutually devoted friendship/third thing with him, whether or not Watson is also aspec!

Some of my favorite stories are: A Scandal in Bohemia, The Copper Beeches, and The Adventure of the Dying Detective ("Quick, man, if you love me!"), The Adventure of Silver Blaze. Please don't feel at all limited by this list if something else speaks to you, I adore having parts of canon I've missed the potential significance of pointed out to me and I love treading both familiar and less-familiar ground in reading!

I adore Granada Holmes! Some of my favorite episodes are: A Scandal in Bohemia, Solitary Cyclist, The Empty House, Silver Blaze, Devil's Foot, Case of the Eligible Bachelor, Illustrious Client, and Dying Detective. (Truly I love the entire show please do not feel limited by this list).

Other fandom specific likes: Put that man in blankets, Schlimazel / Wet Cat Holmes, Reichenbach trauma, Watson having chronic pain, Holmes with new chronic illness post-Reichenbach, Everyone lives whump, Horses, Historical Costume, Historical Details, Holmes and Watson's Mutual Devotion, how Jeremy Brett loves the horses and pets them, the friendship between Holmes and Wtson is really strong, in a compelling, platonic and tender way. aro enjoyment!!, Watson and Mrs. Hudson & Holmes all love and accept each other so wonderfully, and kind of have a found family vibe going on, Jeremy Brett is super expressive. his face is like. theater all on its own. and then also on top of that the different ways his hair and dress are done like. so good. the way they are expressions of his mood/state are just incredible. in a lot of ways he's a very embodied character, the period costume and set design are AMAZING. just utterly gorgeous, the stories feel like very faithful adaptations, canes in the show, chronic illness and disability, holmes (and his actor) have such strong autistic vibes i just. so good, when the social commentary is spot on!
